The wife of the Chief Executive of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Mohammed Adjei Sowah, has passed away.
The news of Madam Fuseina Seidu's passing was announced in a post on the official Facebook page of the AMA.
According to the post, the wife of Mr Sowah passed away on Tuesday, June 1, at the University of Ghana Medical Centre where she was receiving treatment.
However, the cause of her death was not revealed. Meanwhile, she was buried on the same day in line with Islamic dictates.
Madam Fuseina Seidu is survived by one child, the statement revealed.
"The AMA therefore wishes to convey the deep sympathies of its staff and the people of Accra to the Metropolitan Chief Executive of Accra, Hon. Mohammed Adjei Sowah, the child and the entire family in these difficult times."
