MTN Ghana’s innovative Marketing campaigns have been recognised at the 10th Marketing World Awards held in Accra. The organization won seven awards at the event.
MTN was awarded in the following categories, Best Covid-19 Campaign of the year (Wear it for me campaign), Excellence in Branded Content, Best OTT Brand of the year(Ayoba) Innovative Customer Experience of the year and Marketing Team of the year (Gold).

Two Executives of MTN Ghana received personality awards at the event.
The Chief Corporate Services Officer at MTN Ghana, Samuel Koranteng was awarded for his Outstanding Contribution to Communications and the Chief Marketing Officer, Noel Kojo-Ganson was named among the Africa Top 50 Marketing leaders.

This is the second time Noel has been named among top Marketing leaders.
Receiving the awards on behalf of MTN, the Chief Corporate Services Officer, Samuel Koranteng expressed appreciation to the organizers for the awards and pledged MTN’s commitment to churning out very innovative products and services to brighten the lives of customers.
He said “we always take customer’s feedback very seriously and we always tailor our products and services to meet their digital needs and lifestyle.
Mr Koranteng dedicated the awards to the Marketing and Corporate Communication Teams and all MTN’s customers.

Commenting on the awards, the Chief Executive Officer of MTN Ghana, Selorm Adadevoh commended the team for the awards.
He said “I am glad our marketing initiatives and strategies have been recognized. I wish to commend the Marketing team for all the hard work put in place in ensuring the different needs of our customers were met even at the time of COVID where normal business was disrupted.
“We are on the journey of leading digital solutions for Africa’s progress and with continuous investment in infrastructure, we are certain to lead the digital space especially in Ghana where we committed to becoming a digital operator by 2023.

"Ayekoo to the Marketing and Communication teams, especially to Noel Kojo-Ganson and Samuel Koranteng for winning personality awards. It is gratifying these awards were received at the time MTN is celebrating its 25th anniversary” he added.
The Marketing World Awards (MWA) recognizes outstanding organizations and individuals that have delivered superior product value to the market and exhibited excellence in upholding concrete marketing strategies, display uniqueness and innovativeness, among offerings, convey clear messages to its consumers, and driving distinctiveness.
