Ghanaians have expressed their views on the Ghana Football Association's (GFA) decision to appoint Milovan Rajevac as the new head coach for the national team, Black Stars.
Although the public share contrasting opinions on social media, many have welcomed the very man who led the country to the quarter-final of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
He has taken over from Charles Akonnor whose appointment was terminated in early September by the GFA.
According to sources, the Serbian will also be on $30,000 per month as salary. Also, he has been tasked to win the next edition of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be staged in Cameroon, and also qualify the country for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar
Already, the new head coach, Mr Rajevac says all final decisions on invitations to the Black Stars team will be made by him.

Thoughts? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/YZXXiqaQZW
From watching the press conference it looks like Milo is up for the challenge.
Wishing him the best of luck, and hoping he has the right team in place to make the correct call ups, 🇬🇭Ghana has talent and its time we show it.— Kwasi J Siaw (@siawofficial) September 24, 2021
I know Milovan Rajevac will give Fatawu Issahaku a chance with the Black Stars. pic.twitter.com/M6yGttY0dF

With Milovan Rajevac in the saddle, every player must fight for their spot. So, as GFA Boss Kurt Okraku will say: "if you are a top player, this is the time to show." However, GFA should give Milo support to deliver. Don't mess him up like you did CK and turn around to blame him. pic.twitter.com/25V9tJotoh

Milovan Rajevac loved to defend. What made him win most games was how clinical his number 9, Asamoah Gyan was.

If Milo is to succeed this time, we will need a striker similar to Gyan, who scores from low quality chances.pic.twitter.com/G81FmXPbS8

The entire GFA are aware the current Black Star's player's we have now can't win AFCON not talking of qualifying to the world cup.

The GFA decided to go for Milovan to cover up their incompetency.
I would prefer Otto Addo over Milovan Rajevac any day #SportsPanorama @Fentuo_
Welcome to Milovan Rajevac. But how on earth is the national team coach working with two part-time assistants?
