Agri-Impact Consult is a business development firm with rich experience in agricultural and agro-industrial advisory services. AIC was adjudged for the second time as the Agribusiness Management Consulting Firm of the year & Agribusiness Project Management Company of the year at the Prestigious Ghana Agribusiness Excellence and Leadership Awards on Wednesday, 24th November 2021, at the Marriot Hotel, Accra.
Additionally, Management and Staff of the organisation won individual awards, this included Outstanding Contribution to Agribusiness Technology and youth Development - Daniel Fahene Acquaye (CEO of Agri-Impact Consult), Outstanding Woman in Agribusiness-Juliana Asante-Dartey (Executive Director Agri-Impact Consult) and Agribusiness Project Manager of the year - Larry Selorm Amekuse (Programs Director). Present to support the team was Mr Abraham SARFO, an international agribusiness consultant who has been working with agri-Impact consult on some of their projects across Africa.
The annual National Agribusiness Industry Performance awards was held under the team “sustainable agriculture: a catalyst for food security and job creation” sought so individuals and organisations (both private and public) who have performed outstandingly within the years of service
Once again, Agri-impact was recognised for its excellence in providing distinctive agribusiness services and cutting-edge solutions to the country and beyond to enhance productivity, increase profitability to help gain a competitive edge in the agribusiness and agro industry thereby delivering excellent results that sets AIC apart as Agribusiness Management Consulting Firm of the year 2021.
AGRIC-Impact consult has championed the upscaling of Greenhouse Technology in Ghana and with the support of Ghana Eximbank have installed 200 Greenhouses across the country; effectively 13 hectares of vegetable production under intensive cultivation. This has provided jobs to over 800 Ghanaian youth. Agri-Impact has been involved in the agribusiness and industrialisation agenda by supporting the Eximbank Ghana as a technical company for the implementation of the 1D1F program by providing monitoring and advisory services to over 70 one district one factory firms dotted across the country.
We have also with the support of AGRA implemented the Small Holder Inclusive Productivity and Market Access (Sipma) project in middle and northern sectors of the country impacting over 100,000 smallholder farmers.
At the continental level, AIC providing support to Africa Union Development Agency (AUDA) in the design of continental agribusiness programs, skills development and entrepreneurship. We have supported directly the Government of Botswana and Zambia to design and promote their Local Economic Development within the agribusiness and other economic sectors. We are currently leading the development of a continental private sector engagement strategy for agricultural research and development for FARA.
Agri-Impact Consult is determined to work with institutions to create jobs for the youth, upscale adoption of research outputs to enhance private sectors productivity and competitiveness.
It will continue to work hard to promote investments in agribusiness to help tackle inflation caused by AGRIC performance.
