The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) held a press conference on the reversal of benchmark value discounts on imported goods.
This comes after government, through the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) announced that effective Tuesday, January 4, 2022, Benchmark values will be reversed for some 43 selected items.
However, information reaching JoyNews reveals that importers have barely 24-hours to clear their goods at the port before the benchmark values are scrapped.
