Accra FM journalist, Kwabena Bobie Ansah, who was arrested on February 10, for publishing false news will be arraigned today.
The Police Service made the announcement in a press statement dated February 11, signed by Head of Public Affairs in the Ashanti Region, Dept. Supt. Juliana Obeng.
In the circular, the Police also noted that efforts are being made to arrest three other suspects who also made several statements against some individuals on Accra FM's "Citizen Show" on January 11, this year.
These three unidentified persons and Kwabena Bobie Ansah, the Police said, "were invited to assist the Police with the investigation on several occasions but they failed to honour the invitation."
Bobie Ansah's arrest and the search for the other suspects come after the Police, through investigations, found their statements on the show to be false.
