The Divisional Chief of Anlo Afiadenyigba in the Keta Municipality, Torgbui Akamu V, has assured his commitment to making his jurisdiction one of the best in Ghana.
Torgbui Akamu V noted that he will spearhead the developmental projects he so desires to see in Anlo Afiadenyigba as the community has several natural resources.
He also stated that there are many tourist sites in the locality to attract tourists; adding "we have a lot here, our beautiful islands can be useful for the hospitality industry and other investments."
He, therefore, has appealed to investors to see Anlo Afiadenyigba as the number one place of destination in terms of business since it is conducive and the people are very welcoming.
Also, to ensure the transformation of Anlo Afiadenyigba, Torgbui Akamu V has called on the government to intervene and urged the various traditional leaders and members of the community to stand united.
"We need to recognise our unique roles as traditional rulers and build consensus to drive the growth and development of our communities. Let's rise to the occasion to harness and also create opportunities for our people in deprived communities," he said
The business mogul operates a local lottery under the group name Sadaco Brothers Business Ventures.
He believes that his efforts in building this business would be instrumental in providing jobs to the youth of the area.
Meanwhile, MCE for Keta, Emmanuel Gemegah, is hopeful that with the support of residents, Anlo Afiadenyigba will get the needed development.
Mr Emmanuel Gemegah noted that the government is committed to providing enough developmental projects in the Keta Municipality. He urged residents to keep up their faith in the government.
