President Akufo-Addo has once again called on Ghanaians to remain optimistic about the country's economic recovery potential.
According to the President, although the country is facing several challenges, Ghanaians must "be inspired and guided by this promise of salvation."
President Akufo-Addo noted that government is doing its best possible to restore the nation back onto the path of progress it was enjoying before the onset of Covid-19, whose negative consequences have been further exacerbated by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Delivering his Easter message via Facebook, the President therefore asked that "respectfully, all of you, continue to have hope of great times soon for our country."
The President, however, stressed that although government is working, citizens must do their part by standing united.
President Akufo-Addo is confident that with "creativity, enterprise, hard work, perseverance and unity, our current situation can be overturned."
For the President, "our future is bright" despite the many obstacles Ghana has to overcome.
