The Department of Communication Studies of the University of Ghana (UG) will hold its 50th anniversary celebration on July 20.
It will be held on the theme, ‘50 Years of Communication Scholarship and Training: Reimagining the Field in a Digital Era.’
According to the Head of the Department, Dr Abena A. Yeboah-Banin, the celebration will run through the rest of the year.
“It is time to celebrate our big stories, the great things you [graduates of the Department] are doing out there that make us big – we want to celebrate them.
“We will be coming to you to ask you to share your stories and experiences while you were here,” she said.
Other details of the launch and celebration activities will be announced soon.
