Pending a determination of a case before it, an Accra High Court has approved the Ministry of Youth and Sports' (MOYS) recommended roadmap for amputee football in the country and Ghana's participation in this year's World Cup.
The court maintains the case should not hinder the players' participation in the sport or their chances of representing Ghana at the World Cup.
According to the court, the National Paralympic Committee of Ghana and the National Sports Authority are organs of the Sports Ministry and have important roles to play in the implementation of the roadmap.
Ghana will represent Africa in the Amputee World Cup in Turkey after winning last year's AFCON.
