The Chief Executive of Apex Health Insurance Limited, Godwin Fafali Setsoafia-Tukpeyi, has been adjudged CEO of the year 2022 in the Private Health Category at the Ghana Insurance Awards.
Within two years of occupying the Office, the youngest CEO within the Private Health Insurance sector beat five nominees to receive the coveted award.
Fafali is a fierce advocate for inclusiveness in driving sustainable healthcare access and the critical role the Private Health Insurance Schemes play towards the achievement of the Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
He is inspired by the commitment on Universal Health by the newly appointed CEO of the NHIA, Dr. Okoe-Boye.
This recognition is the latest among a long list of honours Fafali has bagged which includes Outstanding Health Insurance CEO of the Year at the Ghana Pharma Awards 2021 and Young Achiever of the Year at the Ghana Insurance Awards 2021.
In his engagement with Joy Business Fafali said “It is time to sell the health insurance industry and we are here to celebrate those visionaries who are going to help us pitch the industry to the world”.
He asked for support in any form or shape of advocacy for the industry.
Fafali is absolutely convinced that Apex Health as one of the Market leaders will continue tirelessly to work with the NHIA, Healthcare facilities, clients and all other stakeholders to make Ghana Healthier.
Apex Health Insurance won the Emerging Brand of the Year and the Best Growing company of the Year for the Private Health Category at the aforementioned award ceremony.
