Ghana midfielder, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh, has chosen his cameo against Nigeria in the FIFA World Cup playoff game as his best individual performance.
Prior to the first-leg clash against the Super Eagles at the Baba Yara Stadium, the Black Stars midfielder was reported to have picked up an injury but recovered in time to feature for just eight minutes.
However, it was his second-half performance in the return league which drew attention to his game and fetched him plaudits.
With Otto Addo's side drawing 1-1 at half-time in Abuja, Kyereh, Elisha Owusu and Andy Yiadom were brought on for the second 45 minutes as they managed the game well to see Ghana seal qualification to the World Cup.
Speaking in an interview with South Africa-based GQ, the Freiburg man said that performance stands out for him in his career so far.
"My second half in the World Cup playoffs against Nigeria," he said.
In his 45 minutes of action, the 26-year-old completed 20 passes, the most on the pitch while also winning all three of his tackles.
