Prof Elsie Effah Kauffmann was the quiz mistress for this and the remaining contests.
The second quarter-final contest for Wednesday will feature St. Hubert Seminary, Tamale SHS and Mfantsipim School.
Meanwhile, Prempeh College will face Mawuli SHS and Aburi Presby SHTS later in the day. Some NSMQ enthusiasts are tipping Mawuli SHS to win that contest.
