The Dance With a Purpose Academy (DWP Academy) is a popular dance school in Ghana that provides dance tutorials for people of all ages.
The US wing, according to manager Kweku William, was created to connect the different cultures together.
Mr William details the journey of the dance academy in this chat on E Vibe with Becky,.
“DWP USA started three years ago as a branch, our headquarters is the one in Ghana managed by Quabbles and the rest of the team back home. It was all with the aim of getting people over here to adapt to the culture. Since there are a lot of Caribbean people, Ghanaians and Africans in general and others who want to reconnect to the culture, so we had to create this outlet for them to learn."
He added that the academy is very instrumental to the creative industry, hence cannot be overlooked

“Afrobeats like the fastest growing genre, if you ask me, in my opinion, so you know along with music, comes with dance, so they go hand in hand. So we had to create that supply for that demand and it's been very rewarding ever since and perfect. It's been very rewarding and fun and we are having fun with all our dancers.”
The E Vibes show strives to evoke memories through the setting of the interview and their rise, the memories they made on their way to the top with the hope that their unique stories will help shape the younger generation.
E Vibes is different from your regular day-to-day interviews. This show is carefully designed to provide some quality time with selected personalities
