English Premier League side, Leicester City, has officially confirmed the signing of Ghanaian youngster, Nathan Opoku.
The 21-year-old joins the Foxes from Syracuse University in the United States and pens a three-year deal with the club.
Opoku after signing for Leicester will be loaned immediately to Belgian-based Oud-Heverlee Leuven to continue his development.
The US-based player was named the Most Outstanding Offensive Player of the National Collegiate Athletic Association last year after scoring 11 goals and providing eight assists for Syracuse.
The forward had a stint at the Manchester City academy before moving to the United States.
In his farewell message ahead of his return to Europe, Opoku said, "I am excited to announce that I am making the transition to professional soccer.
"Syracuse University welcomed me into their family, and my time here was nothing short of beautiful. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to grow as a player."
