US-based Ghanaian musician, Kweku William says although his musical journey was not all rosy, he is grateful for the feat he has attained in the past 10 years.
Speaking on the US series of E Vibes, the singer and dance crew manager's goal is to make an impact with his songs.
The multi-talented young man told Becky that "it is not about being famous, I don't want to be just like a famous Musician but like very impactful and all my music to be heard by people who don't even have to know me."
"So besides Dance Africa, Hooli who is a huge dancer here, he's worked with Chris Brown and a couple of other artistes, it's because of him Chris Brown posted one of my songs on his stories, I woke up to eleven thousand streams. Yes but they don't have to know me it's my music that's going," he said.
K. William is well known in the African community for his high-energy personality and songs such as 'Hooli', 'Dangerous', 'Vybration', and 'Somebody Daughter'.
He was hosted on a MajorStage production and brags of shows at the Barclays Center, 4 different college tours in 3 years including 3 headline shows in 2022 alone.
He has also written songs for major TV shows including a recent feature on Netflix’s All American: Home Coming Season 3.
Two of his dance songs have been featured on National television in Russia and Romania.
For K. William, the focus is not on being famous but rather on building structure and bridging the gap between the world and African creatives.
The E Vibes show strives to evoke memories through the setting of the interview and their rise, the memories they made on their way to the top with the hope that their unique stories will help shape the younger generation.
