Dancer and former Dance With Purpose (DWP) Academy member, Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah, also called Afronitaa, has shared her experience so far after exiting the academy.
Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime’s 4Kids Paradise, the dancer said it was a tough decision to leave, but she needed to because she believed it was God’s plan for her to explore further.
“Obviously, I wasn’t happy, but I’m someone who believes in God and His directions. So, I knew that it was God’s plan for my life. Even if I wasn’t happy, I had to accept it whether I liked it or not.”
Afronitaa parted ways with DWP Academy in January, which was later confirmed by the team in a press statement. They noted that it was a tough decision to let go of the dancer.
She joined DWP in 2018 at the age of 14 and has since successfully graced the entertainment industry with her dancing prowess, earning her a good reputation for herself.
A month after her exit, Afronita alongside TV3 Talented Kids winner, Abigail etched their names in history as the first Ghanaian dancers to grace the stage of Britain’s Got Talent.
The dancers’ journey on the international stage was applauded by the majority of Ghanaians as they paved the way for a vibrant future in the world of dance and entertainment in Ghana.
Currently, Afronita is already living her dreams, as she is working effortlessly towards the opening of her own dance academy for children, named Afrostar Kids Academy.
The academy is set to be launched on April 14, and she says parents interested to enrol their children to be nurtured are welcome.
