Ghana’s super station, Joy 99.7 FM returns this year with more enthralling activities to mark its annual Ghana Month celebration.
Joy FM for the past years has dedicated March, which the month of Ghana’s independence to projecting what is Ghanaian, and imbuing the spirit of ‘Ghanaian-ness’ in citizens.
This year, the activities get more exciting and educative as innovative programmes for both on-air and outdoor activities are tailored to meet varied tastes of listeners.
All Joy FM programmes will carry content meant to reflect Ghanaian treasures and values. Special premium will be placed on local music throughout the month.
A day will be set aside for on-air presenters to use various local languages in their presentations.
Apart from these, there shall be exhilarating on-air promotions aimed at putting the spotlight on Ghana’s holiday destinations.
This year’s Ghana Month as usual, will pay particular attention to Ghana’s tourism, arts and culture. On 11th March, 2023, Ghana’s most authoritative entertainment analysis programme, Showbiz A-Z will be aired live from Mount Afadja in the Volta Region.
The Ghana Month radar will also be placed on artisans whose works have not received much attention.
Apart from these, listeners of Joy FM, will be educated on historical facts on some Ghanaian personalities, events and happenings.
All these will be replicated across Joy FM social media handles.
