Hearts of Oak fans have stopped head coach, Slavko Matic, from taking charge of Friday morning's training session at Pobiman in Accra.
This followed a warning on Thursday by Kobby Jones, the Public Relations Officer of the club's supporters wing, National Chapters Committee.
“If the management will not prevent him [Slavko Matic] from being on the touchline [on Sunday against Asante Kotoko], we will resist him because we believe he will not help us. We will do that," Jones told Joy Sports after Wednesday's 1-0 loss to Great Olympics.
A video emerged in the early hours of Friday showing fans blocking his path and pushing him back when he was reporting for training at their Pobiman base.
The Serb has been spotted at the Criminal Investigation Department headquarters of the Ghana Police Service after the incident. He was reportdly there to lodge a complaint to the police.
Hearts of Oak have only won two league games in their previous eight and have also been elminated from the MTN FA Cup.
The Phobians are 6th on the Ghana Premier League table with 28 points from 19 games.
