Ghana international Gideon Mensah made his first appearance after his injury concern in Saturday afternoon's Ligue 1 fixture between AJ Auxerre and Lille.
Mensah had been out of action since picking up an injury during his side's league game against Troyes after the March international break.
Despite being seen with crutches after the game, the 24-year-old was not going to be out for long as he only missed two of Auxerre's games since the setback.
The left-back was restored back in the team's starting lineup upon his return to full fitness and dazzled in the draw against the fifth-placed side.
The former Bordeaux man made an important clearance off the line to keep his side in the game before they equalised in the second to snatch a point and move further away from the relegation zone.
Mensah shared his delight after his return to the pitch once again with a post on social media.
Auxerre have lost just two of the last 10 games that the Ghanaian has started and look certain to avoid relegation at the end of the season.
