There have been a number of reported cases of violent extremism across Africa with an attendant evolution in their modes of operation.
This has moved countries to be security conscious with the UN Security Council and the global community urged to make the fight against the global canker a top priority.
Meanwhile, the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has launched a Baseline Study on how Ghana can prevent and contain violent extremism.
