The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare has assigned a police clinical psychologist to the family of the late constable allegedly shot by his senior colleague in the Western North Region.
The clinical psychologist will assist the family with whatever support they may need as they mourn the young officer.
This was contained in a press statement issued by the police on Saturday.

“A police clinical psychologist has been assigned to the family to support them through this difficult time,” the statement said.
The Police says another team of psychologists has been assigned to the Western Regional Police Command to provide psycho-social support to the late officer's colleagues who may be affected by the incident.
Meanwhile, the police says it has commenced investigations into the killing, while the suspect officer is being kept in custody.
The constable died on Friday after he was allegedly shot by one of his senior colleagues upon their return from an operation.
He died later at the hospital shortly after he was taken there for treatment.
