A military imposter was arrested at a polling station in Assin Breku in the ongoing by-election.
The young man, dressed in full military attire, was apprehended by the police on Tuesday.
According to sources, there were rumors about the man's presence in a house earlier in the morning, but the police did not immediately take action.

However, he was eventually arrested when he entered the area during the time when the NDC candidate, James Gyakye Quayson, visited to vote.
Officers whisked him into a pick-up truck and drove him off for further investigations.
The police have not yet made any statement regarding the incident.
Some others were also arrested for wearing party paraphernalia within the polling station.
Meanwhile, police presence has been high at the polling stations since the election started this morning.

Earlier this week, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr George Akuffo Dampare visited the area and met with the leadership of the parties.Â
During the meeting, the political parties pledged to ensure a peaceful election and not engage in any illegality.
He also emphasised the need for impartiality, neutrality, and transparency in the electoral process.
