A good number of youth in Ho are seeking justice for a native who allegedly took his life in Saviefe Agorkpo in the Ho West District of the Volta Region.
The youth believe Francis Senyo Doheame who went missing on 21st June, 2023 was murdered and hanged in the bush, away from the farming community to portray a story of suicide.
Eyewitnesses say his lifeless body was found in a kneeling position with a yellow nylon rope around his neck tied to a tree, in the afternoon of 24th June 2023. There was a visible wound on his left calf, dripping blood.
Eperror, as he was affectionately called, was stationed at the Saviefe Agorkpo E.P Primary School, where he taught until his sudden death.
Several posts have been made on social media with #Justice4Francis calling on the police to unravel the mysterious death of their friend and relative.
“We were told also that there was a knife in his pocket. The general conclusion is that he committed suicide which we totally disagree with. Senyo, we strongly believe, was murdered.
"We know you have unravelled more mysterious deaths than this so our hopes in you are high even though your men (Officers from Dzolokpuita) who came for the body left behind evidence/exhibits, ie yellow nylon rope and knife.
"We wait for closure, we’re angrily patient for Justice”, stated a Facebook user, Prince Yao Amevi.
Other users posted pictures of the deceased along with requests for a thorough investigation into the alleged suicide and ensure perpetrators are brought to book.

The Prime Youth Band of which Francis was a member would organise a procession and a vigil in his honour on Wednesday.
The procession would begin from PYB Band House, Ahoe through the principal streets of Ho at about 4 am, followed by a requiem vigil at the deceased family residence at 6 pm. Organisers have requested participants to wear black or red.
