Wilmar Africa Limited has once again shown its commitment to the well-being of consumers.
In a remarkable gesture of goodwill, Wilmar donated its food and household products to the Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu and his household as part of the Eid-ul-Adha festivities.
The gesture by Wilmar Africa Limited was praised by the PRO of the Chief Imam, who received the items on behalf of the Muslim leader and community.
Sheikh Armiyao Shaibu expressed gratitude to the company for their kind gesture.

He said, "Given the difficult economic times the gesture was more than just a charitable effort. It demonstrates the company's dedication to its customers and the community in which it operates."
Wilmar Africa believes in the significance that joyful eating moments play in the lives of Ghanaians, particularly during holiday seasons such as Eid-ul-Adha; thus, promoting good nutrition and social connections through eating.
Wilmar partnered with several organisations in the celebration of Eid with cooking contests, and food donations among others.
During the recent Happy FM Salafest Cook-out within the Zongo communities in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi, Wilmar’s flagship brands Frytol and Fortune delighted the participants with lots of goodies whiles promoting new recipe discoveries.
These cooking competitions lasted three months and targeted 15 major Zongo communities.
These activities emphasise the significance of corporate social responsibility in today's business world and Wilmar’s commitment to continuously supporting the Ghanaian consumers and community at large.

The product donation today is therefore a climax of all the Eid activities and wishing all Muslims a prosperous year ahead.
The Marketing Manager of Wilmar Africa Limited, Ewuraba Ekua Adusei, said the business looks forward to connecting more with the Muslim Community in future and promoting good nutrition among Ghanaians.
Additionally, she urged Ghanaians to continuously patronise the quality products produced by Wilmar Africa Limited as the business is ever poised to meet all their consumer needs.
Products donated include bags of Fortune Rice, gallons and cartons of Frytol Vegetable Oil, cartons of Jamaa Laundry soap, Alife Toilet soaps and sacks of Jamaa Detergent powder.
