Former Aston Villa forward, Gabriel Agbonlahor, has urged Arsenal to sell Ghana midfielder, Thomas Partey.
Agbonlahor said the 30-year-old is not consistent and the Gunners are not getting even fifty percent of what Partey can offer.
Therefore, the former England international believes Arsenal should let Thomas Partey go, once a good offer comes.
“I would let Partey go. In some games he’s poor, in some games, he’s very good, and in some games, he is injured,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.
“When you sit down and work it out, is he giving you more than 50% of a season of his best football?
“If I was Arsenal, I’d sell him if the money’s right. I think they were trying during the summer.
“I would look at a long-term replacement because as much as he’s a good player, the injuries will just get worse the older he gets.”
The Ghanaian’s injury record since joining the Gunners has seen him miss a significant number of games.
Thomas Partey is currently out since the beginning of September with a muscle injury, missing Arsenal’s wins over Man United and Everton, and the draw vs Spurs.
He also missed Ghana’s games against the Central African Republic and Liberia during the international break.
