GPL 2023/24: Bofoakwa Tano still unbeaten; Medeama claim first win

Bofoakwa Tano will stay at the top of the Ghana Premier League until at least another matchday as they kept their unbeaten record running.

The Hunters faced Heart of Lions on Sunday afternoon away from home and played out a goalless stalemate.

The result sees them their lead at the top of the league table with eight points.

Legon Cities move to the second position on the league log despite being held to a 1-1 draw against Nations FC.

Joseph Mireku scored a first half goal for the Royals as they headed into the break. However, Barimah Baah equalised for the home side to tie the game.

Medeama picked up their first win of the season as they came from a goal down to beat Bechem United away from home.

Jonathan Sowah was among the goals for the Tarkwa-based side who still have a game in hand to play.
