The final funeral rites and burial service for the late Ga Manye, Naa Dede Omaedru III is underway in Accra.
Chiefs, elders, well wishers and sympathisers continue to throng the funeral grounds amidst drumming, singing and dancing with the firing of muskets.
Other distinguished personalities attending the august event include politicians, the clergy, faith groups, personnel from the security services, and heads of both state and private institutions.
Some notable dignitaries present are the First Lady, Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo, the Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare, Odefour Amankwa Dodoo VIII, President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs, Nii Adote Otintor II, Paramount Chief of Sempe Traditional Area, Nii Ahene Nuno II, Paramount Chief, Abola Traditional Area.
