Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil returned to the scoresheet as KRC Genk recorded an away win in the Jupiler Pro League on Sunday night.
Genk were on the road as they faced Kortrijk on matchday 12 of the Belgian league.
Paintsil was handed a starting berth in the game despite not scoring in his last three games for the club across all competitions.
However, Paintsil ended his wait for a goal as he scored the second goal in the 3-0 victory,
His goal came after Tolu Arokodare had opened the scoring for Genkies in the 56th minute of the game.
Paintsil was taken off three minutes after scoring before Daniel Munoz wrapped up the victory for Genk.
The Ghanaian has now scored four goals and provided three assists in 12 games for the club in the league.
