The Director of Elections and IT for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, has called on Ghanaians to vote for former President John Mahama in the upcoming election.
He emphasised that Mr. Mahama is the candidate capable of alleviating the untold hardships imposed by the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The former Communications Minister urged Ghanaians not to repeat the mistakes of the past two elections and to consider the corruption scandals that have occurred under President Akufo-Addo.
Dr. Edward Omane Boamah believes that voting massively for John Mahama is essential to saving the country.
"One year from today, by the grace of almighty God, Ghana will be redeemed from the hands of these NPP destroyers who have visited unprecedented economic hardships on Ghanaians.
Think of the hundreds of millions of dollars wasted on the galamsey-like hole/pit called the National Cathedral."
"Think about the SML scam. Think about the terrible Lithium agreement. Think about the millions wasted by frequently hiring a private luxurious jet for the president and his appointees. Think about the Agyapa heist. Think about more..."
"Also, think about the financial haircuts pensioners and middle-class families have suffered," he urged.
This advocacy reflects the ongoing political discourse and the NDC's strategy for the upcoming election.
