Barima Kaakyire Agyemang, who broke the news of veteran Highlife musician K.K Kabobo’s illness, has disclosed that former President John Mahama has donated some money to help foot his hospital bills.
Taking to his Facebook page, Barima noted that the NDC Flagbearer paid GH₵5,000 to the musician.
But, Mr Mahama is not the only one to extend a helping hand. The Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO), also donated money to the veteran artiste.
K.K Kabobo revealed in an interview on Joy FM that GHAMRO gave him an amount of GH¢2,000 for his treatment.
Additionally, some other groups have also supported the actor, however, he is still appealing for support noting that his medical expenses are high.
On his part, Barima provided the musician’s MOMO account urging Ghanaians to keep supporting him.
