Agricwealth Ghana will host the first-ever Africa Agriculture Investment Summit at Cineworld, The O2, Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX, in less than two weeks.
This gathering aims to bring together government officials, financial institutions, investors, logistics firms, project developers, commercial farmers, and players in the agro-food industry.
The summit's main goal is to explore untapped agricultural potential in Ghana and stimulate collaboration, unveil investment opportunities, and foster partnerships to revitalize rural economies, address rural poverty, and curb unemployment.

Agricwealth Ghana, in collaboration with its UK office, leads this initiative, marking the first time a Ghanaian firm takes the lead in organizing African diaspora in the United Kingdom for a collaborative project showcasing Ghana's trade and investment opportunities.
The summit is scheduled to commence on March 16, 2024, at 10 am.
Ghana’s agriculture sector offers investment opportunities in poultry, animal feeds, rice production, value addition support, and other domains. Despite its significant agricultural investment portfolio, Ghana imported $2.6 billion worth of agricultural and related products in 2022.
According to the World Bank data on inward remittance, Ghana has witnessed a substantial rise in remittances inflow from US$2 billion in 2014, US$5 billion in 2015, US$3 billion in 2016, US$3.5 billion in 2017 to US$ 4.5 billion in 2021 and further to US$ 4.7 billion in 2022(World Bank 2022).
To bolster investor confidence, the Ghanaian government has implemented incentives, including tax exemptions on imported agricultural machinery.
Agricwealth Ghana seeks to reshape the narrative by enticing potential investors to explore the benefits of investing in Ghana’s agriculture sector, leveraging abundant agrarian lands, climate resilience, and favorable weather patterns.
In 2022 and 2023, Agricwealth Ghana mobilized over 10,000 youths for its Ghana Youth Agriculture Summit, empowering them to embrace food production. Post-summit, Agricwealth Ghana facilitated numerous youths in acquiring tracts of land for diverse farming activities, with over 200 now actively engaged in personal agricultural businesses.
Executive Director Evans Kyere-Mensah received recognition as the Best Municipal Cassava Farmer in the Mampong district of the Ashanti region in 2023. Operating a 500-acre cassava plantation in Bosomkyekye, Mampong Municipal, Kyere-Mensah remains steadfast in his belief in agriculture’s potential to positively impact Ghana’s economy.
Mr Kyere-Mensah received the best agri Advocacy award from Guzakuza in 2022.
He believes that agribusiness will reshape Ghana’s economic narrative and address youth unemployment, bringing prosperity, transformative livelihoods, and purpose for the younger generation. Mr Kyere-Mensah emphasizes the diaspora's crucial role in mobilizing communities for growth and development and believes that addressing agricultural challenges will also tackle endemic issues in Ghana, including food security, manufacturing, transportation, water, climate, health, housing, and education.
