Cagliari manager, Claudio Ranieri, has tipped Ghanaian youngster, Ibrahim Sulemana, for greatness, after yet another impressive showing in the Italian Serie A on Sunday.
Sulemana came off the bench to score a brilliant equalizer for his side, Cagliari, in their 1-1 draw against Hellas Verona.
The 20 year old had been absent since February with an ankle injury, but recovered in time to feature in the final minutes of the game and inflict damage on his former employers, Hellas Verona.
Ranieri believes the Ghanaian can become even better, considering the progress he’s making.
“Sulemana knows how to give great consistency, he has determination, resistance and never stops running, Ranieri said after the game.
“He hurt his ankle at the best moment, but has recovered, and today it seemed right to give him the final half hour.
“I saw him last year in Verona and he had impressed me, he has enormous room for improvement,” the former Chelsea boss added.
Sulemana, who’s yet to receive a Black Stars call-up, has made 14 appearances in the Serie A this season.
