The government will on Wednesday, April 10, launch the Performance Tracker at GIMPA in Accra.
This platform aims to enhance transparency and accountability in infrastructure project implementation nationwide.
The Performance Tracker is designed to address longstanding concerns regarding the accuracy and reliability of project presentations, particularly the use of artist's impressions to portray outcomes.
It will serve as a dependable tool for showcasing the progress and impact of infrastructure projects, fostering trust and confidence among citizens.

The launch event will be broadcast live on various television stations nationwide and streaming platforms.
Prior to the launch, Samuel Atta Akyea, Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, expressed confidence that the Performance Tracker will address any concerns regarding the management of the country's finances.
In an interview with Asaase Radio, Mr. Atta Akyea underscored the significance of the tracker in dispelling doubts about the prudent utilisation of Ghana's resources, emphasising the importance of accountability to the Ghanaian populace.
“We need to see this performance tracker for people to know that the monies of this nation have been applied properly.”
“It is going to change everything, and all the arguments will be settled that nobody has dissipated the resources of this country; a lot of infrastructure rollouts has happened under President Akufo-Addo, and that is critical.”
