A member of the defunct music group 4×4, Captain Planet, has lost his mother.
Captain Planet, born Sylvanus Dodji Jeoffrey, made the announcement on his social media.
He revealed that his mum had passed on Saturday, April 20, 2024. However, the cause of death is unknown.
"My biggest FEAR in LIFE just happened. Death took a shot at me yesterday and wounded me so badly," he wrote in his post.
Amid his heartbreak, Captain Planet says he looks up to God for comfort. He also prayed for his mother to find eternal peace.
Many fans and followers of the musician sent comforting messages to the artiste.
