Mohammed Kudus' distinctive sitting celebration is set to make its debut in the EA Sports FC 25 video game.
The move comes after the Ghanaian forward's remarkable performance in his first Premier League season with West Ham United, where he netted 7 goals and provided 5 assists.
The iconic celebration, characterised by Kudus hopping onto the advertising board after scoring, gained popularity when he first showcased it against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.
Since then, footballers worldwide have been emulating this unique gesture.
In an interview with EA Uncut, Kudus revealed that the inspiration behind his celebration was simply to do something different from the usual knee slides and elaborate moves.
He expressed his joy at seeing others embrace his celebration and encouraged fans to join in the collective expression of joy.
During the conversation, Kudus was delighted to learn that his signature celebration would be featured in FC 25, reflecting his impact on the football world beyond the pitch.
"There's no really, like, deeper meaning to it," he said.
"I just thought about it as doing something different. A lot of people celebrate with knee slides and, all kinds of celebrations, but I just thought about doing something different.
"I'm glad it’s making the waves and other people, too are doing it."
While Kudus continues to shine for West Ham, Ghanaian fans eagerly anticipate seeing him replicate his iconic celebration on the international stage, particularly in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic.
