Two-time undefeated WBO African Featherweight champion, John Laryea, will now fight in the US on July 26 after the initial date was rescheduled.
Laryea will make his long-awaited return to the ring in a first international bout with his opponent still yet to be announced.
The 'Expensive Boxer', who is rated No. 14 by the World Boxing Organization (WBO) in the featherweight division, will have a first taste of international fight on July 26 at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida – USA.
The new date was revealed by Laryea's manager, Sammy Anim Addo, who made the announcement on social media. Laryea is also co-managed by Peter Khan under the renowned world-known Fight Game Advisors Promotions.
The JamesTown-based (13-0-1, 11 KOs) last fought on December 30, 2023, when he defeated Isaac Dowuona by TKO at the Golden Royal Beach, Korle Gonno – Accra.
The undefeated WBO African Featherweight Champion currently ranks No.1 out of 22 in Ghana and No.66 out of 1590 worldwide.
Other high-profile fights on the bill are Gurgen Hovhannisyan vs Robert Hull Jr, David Garcia vs Dominic Hardy and Krystal Rosado-Ortiz vs Veronika Dmitriyeva.
