The Black Queens of Ghana held their first training session on Wednesday, July 3, ahead of their friendly game against Japan.
Twenty-five (25) players were involved in the opening session at the Legon Union Park which the session lasting for an hour.
The 25 players who trained on Wednesday include, Freda Ayisi, Azumah Bugre, Cynthia Konlan, Anaesthesia Achiaa, Mukarama Abdulai, Comfort Yeboah, Mary Amponsah, Princella Adubea, Doris Boaduwaa, Evelyn Badu and Philomena Abakah.
The rest are Safiatu Salifu, Victoria Antwi Adjei, Gifty Assifuah, Susan Duah, Vivian Adjei Konadu, Stella Nyamekye, Portia Boakye, Kerrie McCarthy, Nina Norshie, Bridget Adu, Adama Alhassan, Mavis Owusu, Jaqueline Owusu and Alice Kusi.
Eight players are yet to arrive in camp. They include Bay FC midfielder Princess Marfo as well as Hasaacas Ladies' Fiduos Yakubu.
The Black Queens will play one international friendly against Japan on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
