Ghana international Thomas Partey says he is doing everything within his power to become a reliable player for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Last season, Partey missed 29 games for the club last season as they once again fell short of winning the Premier League.
Prior to that, the 31-year-old had also missed the crucial parts of the 2022/23 season which many believe also contributed to Arsenal missing out on the league to Manchester City.
His injury concerns have become a worry for both the manager and fans in the last two seasons but the Ghanaian is determined to keep fighting for the Gunners.
"I am doing my best to be more consistent and stay fit. It is an everyday job. I cannot give up and need to keep going," he told Hayters TV.
"It's life! Things happen and sometimes they are things you cannot control. I have to keep going and keep fighting.
"Every time I fall, I have to get up and fight back. That is the mentality I have. I also think that any time I can help the team that is what I have to do."
Partey currently has just a year left on his deal at the Emirates which comes to an end at the end of the 2024/25 season.
