The Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has announced a 2-month amnesty period for users of uncustomed vehicles.
This is expected to take effective from August 1 to September 30, 2024.
According to a press release sighted by JoyNews, all penalties that would have been imposed should such vehicles be impounded by personnel of the Customs Division will not be applied during the stated period.
Subsequently, GRA urged all users of uncustomed vehicles to "take advantage of this window and regularize documentations of their vehicles that have been illegally imported into the country."
