Ghana Women's Premier League champions, Hasaacas Ladies, picked up a draw in their opening game at the 2024 CAF Women's Champions League Qualifiers.
The Ghanaian side, who are making their second appearance in the WAFU B zonal qualifiers, were held to a 0-0 draw at the Stade de la Paix de Bouake on Sunday.
Hasaacas were second favourites in the opening 60 minutes of the encounter as they were forced to stay in their own half for the majority of the game.
Grace Banwaa made two brilliant saves to deny the Burkina Faso outfit from taking the lead in both halves.
Hasaacas began to press their opponents following the introduction of midfielder Fidous Yakaubu but their efforts were far from threatening.
For Hasaacas, the result is an improvement from their performance from three seasons ago when they lost 2-0 to Nigeria's River Angels.
The Takoradi-based side will now turn their attention to their second group game where they will face Nigeria's Edo Queens.
