The National Insurance Commission (NIC), has released the 2024 report of the Public Perception, Awareness, and Confidence (PPAC) survey.
The survey, which commenced in 2019, assesses public perceptions of insurance products and services in Ghana.
This year's survey specifically sought to understand the perceptions of non-insured households about insurance.
This shift aims to explore untapped insights into why certain populations remain uninsured and how their perceptions can be influenced to increase insurance penetration.
The specific objectives of the study included assessing the general public perceptions and understanding of insurance concepts, products and companies, general public knowledge of insurance concepts, products and companies, the attitude of the public, and general public experiences regarding raising queries, complaints and dispute resolutions among others.
