Germany U20 delivered a commanding performance, defeating Ghana's U20 national team, the Black Satellites, 5-0 in a friendly encounter on Monday, October 14, 2024, in Germany.
The Black Satellites struggled throughout the preparatory match for the upcoming 2024 WAFU Zone B U20 Championship, which will serve as qualifiers for the 2025 U20 AFCON.
Ilyas Ansah, a player of Ghanaian descent, scored twice to give Germany a 4-0 lead by halftime.
Despite Coach Desmond Offei's efforts to shore up the defence, his team could not prevent the Germans from extending their dominance.
