The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) has commended the vital role of farmers in securing the nation’s food supply and economic stability.
In a statement issued on Friday, UTAG acknowledged the dedication of farmers who, despite often challenging conditions, continue to work tirelessly to provide for the nation.
“Everyone eats, and it is your dedication that keeps us nourished and secure. As farmers, you toil daily to provide the food that sustains our nation,” UTAG stated.
The association emphasised that the hard work and resilience of farmers are the “backbone of our food security,” ensuring the collective well-being of all Ghanaians.
UTAG expressed its gratitude, standing in solidarity with the nation’s farmers and recognizing their essential role in Ghana’s growth and prosperity.
“Your efforts do not go unnoticed, as all Ghanaians stand in gratitude and solidarity with you, acknowledging that our collective wellbeing depends on your tireless contributions,” the statement continued.
