Ghana face Angola in their penultimate game of the AFCON 2025 qualifiers on Friday, but their fate could be decided today.
After failing to register a win during the last round of qualifiers, Ghana’s hopes of making an 11th straight competition look in jeopardy.
The Black Stars’ hopes could be dashed, if Sudan pick up a point against Niger on Thursday, 24 hours before Ghana play.Â
Sudan, who lead Ghana by 5 points and also have a superior head to head and goal difference, only need a point from their final two games to seal qualification.Â
The Black Stars have not failed to qualify for the AFCON since 2004, and failure will be a big blow for the four time champions.
