The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Ho Central, Divine Bosson, has launched a loan scheme called "DINATO" to provide financial assistance to women traders.
The loan scheme is designed to offer interest-free loans to small business owners, addressing the challenge of securing financial support from traditional banking institutions.
Mr Bosson explained that the initiative is one of many he plans to implement to help his constituents become economically independent and strengthen the local economy.

"Women are the backbone of our communities, and empowering them economically means uplifting entire families," he said.
He highlighted that the loan would be easily accessible, offering flexible repayment terms to ensure loanees can pay back within one year.
"Through DINATO, we are creating an opportunity for women to access interest-free loans to grow their businesses and improve their livelihoods," he added.
A trader at the Ho Central Market, Elikplim Seshie, expressed her gratitude to Mr Bosson for identifying the barrier that has hindered business growth and providing a solution.
"This is a lifeline for us. I plan to use the loan to expand and stock my shop. It's a relief to know I can do this without the burden of high interest rates," she said.
