The Electoral Commission says the voting day in the 2024 General Election remains Saturday, 7th December.
The Commission has therefore urged the public to disregard “the misleading statements” by a presenter on Wontumi TV, who had claimed there would be different dates for the presidential election.
“Voters are reminded that voting on the 7th of December. 2024, starts from 7am until 5pm. The Commission encourages voters to go out in their numbers and cast their votes in an orderly manner,” a statement by the Commission, signed by the Deputy Chairman, Operations, Samuel Tettey said.
