The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has categorically stated that it does not operate any investment platforms.
This clarification follows the emergence of a fraudulent social media page, “GNPC Invest,” using the corporation’s name and logo to promote unauthorised schemes.
GNPC in a statement issued on November 25 and signed by its Manager of Corporate Affairs, Eric Pwadura, warned the public against engaging with fake accounts or providing personal information, as these activities are not sanctioned by the organisation.
"Please be advised that GNPC does not operate any investment platforms, and any claims or
advertisements suggesting otherwise are false and unauthorized."

“We strongly advise the public to rely only on verified information from our official website, www.gnpcghana.com, and our authorized social media channels.”
GNPC assured the public of its efforts to address the issue noting that the Corporation has reported the fraudulent page to the Police Cybersecurity Unit.
They therefore urged citizens to stay vigilant, promptly reporting any suspicious pages impersonating GNPC or its subsidiaries.
