The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man for possessing a weapon at the St. Theresa's School polling station in the Okaikwei South constituency.
The incident, which occurred on Saturday, December 7, was reported in a press statement issued by the Police Service.
According to the police, the individual was apprehended at the polling station, and a weapon was found in their possession.

The suspect is currently assisting with investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Police assured the public that swift action was taken to ensure the safety and security of the polling station and the surrounding area.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining peace and order during the election process.
The Ghana Police Service further urged all citizens to remain calm and cooperate with security personnel as the election continues, stressing that the incident would not deter the smooth and peaceful conduct of the voting process.
