Basake Holy Stars aims to maintain their impressive home form in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday, December 14, when Young Apostles visit Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
Holy Stars have a good home record this season, having won three games, drawn one, and have lost only one at home so far. That loss came against struggling Legon Cities on matchday 11
The Basake-based club are currently 10th in the table with 15 points, having won twice, drawn twice, and suffered one single defeat in their last five league games. They’ve scored 10 and conceded 12 goals since the start of the new campaign.
Holy Stars have won their last two home league matches and will be eager to maintain that impressive form over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Young Apostles will look to bounce back to winning ways after two defeats in a row and are two places behind the host with just two points separating them (13).
The Wenchi-based side have won two, drawn one, and suffered five defeats in the league so far this season.
Apostles have scored seven and conceded 12 goals and are among the least away-performing sides in the league currently (W1, D2, L2).
Having been promoted to the league at the end of last season, this will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams in Ghana's top flight.
